| Crocodiles? I don't know of anybody, that has a crocodile as a pet, but my dad caught a crocodile in a lake once, which is a very interesting story. You wouldn't think, there'd be a crocodile in Northern Virginia. It's impossible, that there would be one, because it's too cold in the winter. But one time in May several years ago my mom saw... She was walking around the lake, there is a park close to our house. She saw a crocodile, sitting on the shore of a river, really small one, about two, two and a half feet in length. She walked up to it, she thought, she was going insane, she didn't know what's going on. May be, she thought it was a toy, when she came up to it, it jumped into the water and swam away. | ¿Cocodrilos? | When my mother told us, that she saw a crocodile near the lake, we all thought that she wasn't in her right mind, we thought, she was going crazy, because it's very unlikely that there'd be a crocodile. But then we went ourselves, and we saw it there. We took the picture of it, of course. The first thing, that my dad said, when he saw it, that he's gonna catch it. He said, 'What else that I come to America for, if not to catch crocodiles?'. We visited it several times in the course of a week, I think. | It was a small news station. They came over to the lake, and... with hopes they'd see it, but they didn't really see it, so, they just... they said that it was on the loose. Then one day my dad and his friend from work, they went over to the lake, and at first they tried to catch it with a lasso, made out of a shoelace. Obviously that didn't work at all. Then they bought a large fishing net. They tried to chase it around, my dad had to jump into the water, and... swam after it for a while. Then he caught it by the tail, he dragged it into the net. The crocodile even bit my dad in several places. | Era una pequeña estación de noticias. | Eventually he succeeded in catching it into the net. They had to carry the crocodile with the net through the park, and they had to carry it to our house, and by doing that, they had to cross a playground with little children in it. So, they wouldn't get scared, my dad's friend had to take off his shirt and cover the net with it. They walked all the way back to our house, then they put it in a little kids' pool, and we called all these news stations, and a lot of them came. And they interviewed us, and we were famous for about an hour, we're on the news. | Finalmente, logró atraparlo en la red.
