Vídeo enseña vocabulario para describir el trabajo: job, wages, salary, pay, working conditions. Presenta frases para explicar causas y consecuencias: I worked in a hotel so that I could earn some money. The wages were so low that I didn’t save any money. Practica should/must para reglas de seguridad: You must wear a safety helmet. They should follow safety procedures. Aparecen palabras sobre trabajo peligroso: hazardous, protective clothing, shifts, benefits. Los estudiantes aprenden a hablar sobre el horario: work in shifts, 12-hour day, two weeks on, two weeks off.
